Thou Shalt Not Covet

This "house" is insane. Bananas. Beyond. Out of control. I have seen a few church's that have been converted to homes, but nothing like this.
The bedroom, and bathrooms are causing me serious palpitations. I would do a bit of a decor change, but those walls, and floors are perfect. Don't even get me started on the windows and doors.

And of course it's in Austin. I often daydream about moving there. Even though I hate the heat.
Oh, and I've never been there.

That does it. We're loading up Shan's Swagger Wagon and taking a road trip to Austin.

Yes, it's freaking hot and yes, it's that freaking cool that you deal with it.

I want to move back soooooooooo very but my East Coast husband wants nothing of the sort. He hasn't been there either though. I to still to try to convert him.

Go visit now. Before it gets too hot. It's going to be wildflower season there before you know it. My fave time of all there. Dreamy.

This just absolutely cofirms my LOVE for Austin. The blue tile in that bathroom is BEYOND... and did you take a peek at the grounds?? Heaven. Maybe they'd let me pitch a tent?

PS- you & Jared must take a trip down there. I'd even offer to babysit the little man... that's how awesome it is down there.

That's it-we're ALL moving there. My bff Amber will be very happy to hear it.
Beth, Jared and I booked our tickets. We leave tomorrow. Be here at 6 a.m.
I hope you like baby einstein.

Oh, this is beautiful. But I think what I like the best is seeing this beauty and then reading about your day to day life. It's a contrast isn't it? I have the same in my life. I think it's being me and being a mom. The contrast is laughable sometimes. :)

Jen, you are spot on.
Even if I lived in this castle, there would be Yo gabba gabba blaring from a television somewhere, cracker crumbs all over the floor, and one of those gorgeous bathrooms would have a plumbing issue.
