While perusing Shopbop for a new dress, I came across this photo:
It isn't the dress that caught my eye, but this woman's LEGS. Good grief. While, I love me a skinny model, this girl is on a whole other level. And if the camera really does add 10 lbs, I can only imagine what the real her looks like. I don't even know how one would walk with legs that skinny.
On a much more important note, I am LUSTING over this Parker dress:
While I normally buy vintage, and alter, alter, alter to achieve my "vision", sometimes it's lovely to just buy "off the rack".
Martin Luther King day calls for a new ensemble, don't you think?

Shut it. That dress is in my "shopping bag." Which means nothing b/c I virtual shop all the time and for a hot minute I pretend like it is going to arrive on my doorstep in 5-7 business days and if I'm lucky, I forget about it. And that other chick - she needs more than just your average sandwich. It needs to be a friend PB and banana with Nutella and whipped cream on top. Hmm...I think I just got an idea for breakfast.
absolutely!! Martin would want you to have that dress, now go buy it!!
And yes, the models legs are disturbing, how does she hold herself up!!
Agreed with Erin, I virtual shop all the time. That Parker Dress is insane, I will just borrow yours when you buy it. That model is disgusting and what a sad image for young girls to see. She needs to eat a cheeseburger and drink a bottle of wine.
i will eat a cheeseburger for her when i wear that dress to celebrate MLK day.
My arms are bigger than that chica's legs. She needs a beer with her cheeseburger. I however, need that whole ensemble. Dress-Fab. Shoes- FAB! LOVE.
oh, i love the dress, but the model? am thinking she needs to chow down on a cuban sandwich with a side of tomato basil soup from cafe europa. mmm.
