Several of you wanted to see some more photos of my wedding dress.
I thought about putting it on while preggers, and snapping a few photos for y'all, but luckily for you, my camera's in my son's room, and he's sleeping.
I knew that I didn't want a traditional dress, and that is NOT an easy route to go.. I didn't want to look like I was attending the Oscars-I wanted it to be pretty, yet different at the same time. Oh, and what made it even MORE challenging, is that my fashionista husband already had his Marc Jacobs SEER SUCKER suit purchased.
The search was exhausting, and I ordered and returned several dresses. When I saw the Anna Sui on line, I was afraid it was going to be too dark, but as soon as I opened the box, I was ecstatic.
And after all the returning I had previously done, I bet my post man was too.
Who knows if I will ever wear it again-maybe to my son's first day of school?

I had it in the bag for the clothing swap, but decided just to drop it off at Gooodwill.

That has to be one of the best dresses I have ever seen worn to a wedding...as a bride.
You may want to consider something different for your son's first day of school because you probably wouldn't get enough attention.
In fact I like that dress so much that I just became a follower..ha
