The mister and I don't eat much red meat, but when we do, we go all out. Actually, we don't go out at all- we stay home. We like to know where the cow has been, and what he's been chomping on, so we buy it and cook it ourselves. Yes, we're those people. But, hey, we eat meat (even though I didn't for 13 years).
Anyhoo-enter Joanne Weir's cookbook given to me by my mamma. We made the Soy-marinated flank steak with Asian pesto, wasabi mashed potatoes, and ginger garlic snap peas.
You know those meals that are so good, you limit the conversation? This was one of those meals.
We caught up on talking while having dessert: Smitten Kitchen's Chocolate pudding, layered with cookies and cool whip. I know, I know, I'm a cool whip LOVER. I mean, I prefer it over homemade whipped cream. There. I said it. Stop judging me.

Love your blog. Your baby is beautiful. The chocolate dessert looks sinful! Thanks for including me!
