can i have some more, sir?


This was the Christmas eve feast:

Espresso rubbed steaks from my gal, Ina.
Rosemary potatoes from a woman that just might have clogged arteries.
Steamed carrots with butter and dill.
Zaca Mesa Syrah that knocked my socks off.
Dessert was spiked Shatto egg nog with fresh nutmeg.

The steak recipe was from House Beautiful, and for whatever reason, I can't find it on the web. If anyone wants the recipe, lemme know.
Off to the treadmill now.

I have shatto egg nog at home. :) How do you drink it? cold, warm, spiked with rum? brandy?

i have had it with both brandy and rum (can somebody say lush?). i drink it on ice, and then grate fresh nutmeg on top.
you should have some and celebrate!!
