The weather has been incredible here. Addison seems to be out of the "getting up at 5 a.m." phase. Jared's been busy digging ditches (don't ask), and I've been busy aging. Whoever said your 30s are the new 20s is a moron. Don't get me wrong, I feel pretty good. However, in my 20s, I didn't feel like a Golden Girl after 2 glasses of wine. In my 20s I would have never thought that going to see a dermatologist would be a fun thing to do during my birthday week.
In my 20s, sleeping in meant until noon, not eight.
All that being said, I have been 34 for 5 days now.
And it feels great.
